SAN JOSE, Calif., (ISPCON Fall, Booth #308) — October 16, 2007 — Propel Software Corporation (www.propel.com), a market leader in Internet acceleration and network optimization solutions, today introduced an affiliate program for Internet service providers (ISPs) to offer Propel® PBM™ software to their customers. Propel PBM is the first software to provide personal bandwidth management for individual PC users. The company unveiled Propel PBM at the prestigious DEMOfall ‘07 Conference last month.
The Propel PBM Affiliate Program allows ISPs to solve a growing frustration for broadband users and provides a simple, low-risk way to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU) of their broadband subscriber base. ISPs simply market Propel PBM to their subscribers and share in revenue for each copy of PBM software that is purchased. Propel handles billing, delivery, and support of the PBM software.
Propel PBM ensures optimal performance of applications that use the Internet by automatically prioritizing both inbound and outbound traffic on a user’s PC. With Propel PBM, time-sensitive applications such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), video calls, and online gaming are given precedence in utilizing bandwidth, while lower priority applications such as file transfers continue to run in the background. Propel PBM also includes a traffic monitor to give users insight to effectively manage their personal bandwidth and see applications currently using their bandwidth.

The commercial release of Propel PBM is slated for this quarter. Propel will offer initial promotional pricing for a one-year license that includes new PBM software updates and customer support.
